Kira is the main protagonist of WACOT; she is disguising herself as a boy to play soccer on the boys' team. Her best friends are Benjiro Uchida and Fumiko Kunomasu, and she has a love/hate relationship with Seishiro Kojima.

Mr. Morishita is seemingly naive of Kira's escapade's as a boy, in truth he is too busy with supporting his four children to take time to notice.

Hiro Morishita Kira's older brother
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Class: College Freshman
Hair: Dark Blue
Eyes: Brown

Hiro enjoys his responsibilty of bossing his younger siblings around and teasing Kira as much as he can. He spends his weeks on the college campus, and usually returns home on weekends to visit and help his father. He also plays on his college's soccer team.

Rori Morishita Kira's younger brother
Age: 12

Class: 2A, Junior High School
Hair: Blue
Eyes: Light Brown

Rori is the most serious of the Morishita siblings; he's exceptionally focused in school and already Captain of his Middle School soccer team. He rarely bothers Kira like Hiro and Haru do, and because of this they are close.

Hair: Dark Blue

Haru is the youngest of the Morishita family, and he loves to eat. When he isn't annoying Kira he's usually munching on some goody in front of the TV watching swimming. He's the only sibling that isn't fond of soccer.

Sakio High School

Ms. Nami Fujiwara
Age: 33
Gender: Female
Class: 1B's Homeroom Teacher
Hair: Red
Eyes: Blue

Ms. Fujiwara is the still single, definitely insane, caffiene addicted teacher in charge of Kira and Kojima's classroom. It is still unclear whether she is more calm with or without the caffiene in her system.

Seishiro "The Bullet" Kojima ( #06 )
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Class: 1B
Hair: Black/Dark Green
Eyes: Hazel Green

At times Kojima is the super-serious-about-soccer guy that won't deal with any sillyness, given he wants to do his best. And at other, rarer times he can be almost normal...but none of these incidents involve or are near Kira, who he, for some reason, has a strong grudge against. It wasn't long before they were rivals, and his competitive, somewhat selfish nature, got the best of him, forcing the other team members to take action and MAKE him work together with Kira.

"Lil/Ninja" Benjiro Uchida ( #02 )
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Class: 1C
Hair: Red-Brown
Eyes: Blue

Benjiro is a very high strung freshman, who is also playing on the soccer team due to his close friend Tojo's advice. He is a ninja, and is constantly playing the part...though no one said he had to do it well. Coming from a family that is mostly female (including his two sister and numerous female cousins, Mitsuko Yawanaka being one of them) he is more feminine and childish in action than other guys.

Tojo Ito "Sumo" ( #11 )
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Class: 2B
Hair: Black
Eyes: Black

Tojo comes from a long line of Sumo Wrestlers, and outside of school he is a heavy competitor in the event. He's been friends with Benjiro since grade school, and after joining the soccer team to increase his physical aptitude he asked Benjiro to join him.
